On the campuses of many educational institutions, William Sloan Associates has had the opportunity to design a broad range of building types.  This work has included dormitories, dining facilities, faculty housing, classrooms, offices, laboratories, theaters, art studios, power plants, religious and athletic facilities; in new construction, renovation, historic restoration, and adaptive reuse projects.  Central to the mission of the institutions is the design of teaching environments, including conventional flat floor classrooms, seminar and conference facilities, tiered fixed seat lecture halls, computer classrooms of a variety of configurations, and seminar lecture halls for case study teaching techniques.  Specific classroom designs have been created for teaching of the Sciences, Mathematics, Languages, Management, Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities.
